Verdict
|
After the success of her previous films “Lovely and Amazing” and “Friends with Money”, Nicole Holofcener delivers her most well-rounded and observant study of modern day relationships. With a fine cast and some laugh out loud moments, Holofcener marries an independent sensibility with a mainstream gift for believable characters. The characters in this film are so real and believable that it is a pleasure to see them grow in the context of the narrative. The petty, everyday traumas of everyday life are so minutely observed that the film will ring a bell with everyone (male or female) who is lucky enough to see it. |
