Synopsis
|
Set in 1927 in Hollywood, “The Artist” is a silent film chronicling the ups and downs of movie star George Valentin (Jean Dujardin) whose fame is threatened by the advent of talkies. A parallel story features the ascent of young actress Peppy Miller (Berenice Bejo) who becomes a star whilst Valentin languishes in obscurity. |
